Swaziland money

Lilangeni (singular) or Emalangeni (plural) cents is the currency used in Swaziland. A Lilangeni=100 cents (SZL). The notes come in values of; SZL200, SZL100, SZL50, SZL20 and SZL10 cents. Coins are valued as SZL5, SZL2 and SZL1, 100, 50, 20, 10, 5, 2 and 1 cents.

They are also of equal value to the South African Rand. Both currencies are in circulation locally. The traveller is advised to change Emalangeni back to his own currency before leaving Swaziland. Most Credit cards and travellers cheques are honoured in the Kingdom.
